Dear Kundalini Yoga and Sikh Dharma Communities,
We are happy to provide this biweekly update on the Compassionate Reconciliation Project.
Updates on the Compassionate Reconciliation Commission
Our current focus is on scheduling the first Compassionate Reconciliation Commission meeting (click here for more background on this group). The initial meetings of the CRC will focus on setting group guidelines and determining strategic goals for the Compassionate Reconciliation Project. This is to ensure that the activities of the CRP are determined by folks within your communities, and their diverse perspectives and understandings of the priorities of the current moment.
The CRC has the following composition:

| Representatives of current youth-based programs & schools | 1 primary rep + 1 back-up |
| Reporters of sexual harm in relation to Yogi Bhajan | 2 primary reps + 1 back-up |
| Community members who have expressed concerns about the actions of organizational leadership in response to the reports of harm | 2 primary reps + 1 back-up |
| SSSC Board and Staff | 2 primary reps + 1 back-up |
| Sikh Dharmic leadership and representatives | 1 primary rep + 1 back-up |
| Yogic leadership and representatives | 1 primary rep + 1 back-up |
| Informal community leadership (“Guerilla Peacemakers”) | 1 primary rep + 1 back-up |
| Business Representatives | 1 primary rep + 1 back-up |
Total Primary representatives (Core CRC Team) 13
The CRC will be supported by Just Outcomes in their group-formation and decision-making processes for at least the following 10 months.

Monthly Information Sessions
Q&A Sessions: For community members interested in learning more about the Compassionate Reconciliation Project, Just Outcomes is offering a series of informational Q & A sessions. These monthly sessions are held at different times of day to accommodate various time zones. So far we have hosted calls on June 17th, July 5th and the next one is coming up on August 24th. All Q & A Sessions are scheduled for 60-minutes. The following are options available this fall. Come as often as you’d like!

Upcoming Workshops
Introduction to Restorative Justice Workshop (4-hours): Have you been seeking to better understand what Restorative Justice is all about? In this 4-hour session, Just Outcomes will share the foundational principles and values of restorative justice, and how this approach to justice seeks to repair harm, determine meaningful accountability and build community. We will offer this session several times over the next 10 months and registration is open and available to all those interested in the work of the CRP. All “Introduction to Restorative Justice” workshops are 4-hour sessions. The following are the Fall 2021 Options:
