April 22, 2022
Dear Kundalini Yoga and Sikh Dharma Communities,
We are pleased to be providing this bi-weekly update about the Compassionate Reconciliation Project.
Compassionate Reconciliation Project
Recently, the SSSC hosted a “Sangat Engagement Forum” which included the graphic and content, below. We thought that in light of the recent Acknowledgement, Apology and Reparations Program Announcement (which we discussed in our last update), it may be beneficial to summarize some of the steps that got us to this moment in time with the CRP, and within the path ahead. We anticipate having much more to share and reflect on as we gain more information about the Independent Healing and Reparations Program, and as the Compassionate Reconciliation Commission undertakes its work to help guide healing and reconciliation initiatives as a complement to that program.
